If there's something I love, it's redrawing/recolouring.
I wouldn't call it lack of talent or inspiration. Nor would I call it stealing or plagiarism.
What I like to do is not to emitate a certain artists drawings and make them look exactly the same, but rather drawing inspiration for said artist and making something new and something more me.
Like in the spirit of Pop Art.

I would never even think of "stealing" a piece just like that. That is truly lack of inspiration and futhermore, lack of respect and brains.
